Just in time for Cross Country season, INS Web Development has completed the new Iowa Association of Track Coaches web site (http://www.iatfcc.org).

The new web site presents an organized format of content for High School and Middle School running events in the state of Iowa. It is now easier for athletes, parents, coaches and fans of Cross Country, Track, and Pentathalon to locate upcoming events, individual and team rankings, workouts and more.

An important goal of this website project was to refresh the website’s visual design and navigation, which are now remarkably enhanced. The new web site was built on a content management system to allow for multiple content providers.

About the IATC

The IATC began in it’s infancy in 1969 with one of Iowa’s best known Track & Field Coaches, Bill Bergan.  Bill called upon Hall of Fame Coach Fred Shadle of Osage to discuss and help organize Iowa’s Track coaches.  Yes, the legand is true, the IATC was formed in Bill Bergan’s basement!
Bill was asked to be the first President and the IATC was born.  The IATC has been blessed with outstanding leaders in the past and continuing today. Because of that leadership the IATC offers coaches, athletes and fans opportunities in athletic competition,  recognition of outstanding accomplishments, coaching assistance and  information to make the Cross Country and Track & Field experience, special.
